Bespoke Steel Fabrication — your questions answered
What counts as bespoke fabrication?
Anything made to your drawing or specification rather than off the shelf — one-off tanks, hoppers, frames, skids, pipework spools, guards, brackets and jigs. If you can draw it or describe it, we can usually build it.
Do you work from drawings only?
No. Drawings are ideal, but we regularly work from sketches, samples and site measurements. We'll agree the detail with you before anything is cut.
Which materials do you fabricate in?
Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Stainless is common for food, drink, water and process work; mild steel with a painted or galvanised finish for most industrial and structural jobs.
Do you deliver?
Yes — UK-wide. Installation can be arranged for the right project; just ask when you enquire.
How do you price a bespoke job?
On material, cutting and machine time, fabrication hours, finish and delivery. Send as much detail as you have — dimensions, material, quantity and any finish — and we'll give you an itemised quote. See our guide to what goes into a fabrication quote on the blog.
Do you take on repairs and modifications?
Yes. We repair, strengthen and modify existing steelwork and plant, either in our Greater Manchester workshop or on your site.
