We cut it — and we can finish it
A cutting bureau hands you a box of profiles. We hand you finished parts. Cutting in-house means we control the tolerance, the edge and the lead time — and the same profiles can be drilled, tapped, welded and finished without leaving the building.
Every part is checked against the drawing before it goes out. If a job genuinely suits laser or waterjet better, we'll tell you.

A 4m x 2m bed, up to 45mm plate
Our CNC plasma table takes plate up to 4000mm x 2000mm in a single sheet and cuts up to 45mm thick — big enough for full-size structural plates and heavy profiles that would tie a laser up for hours. Drawings are prepared in-house, so a sketch or a sample is as good a starting point as a DXF.

CNC Plasma Cutting — your questions answered
What files do you need for plasma cutting?
A DXF drawn at 1:1 in millimetres is ideal. We also work from DWG files, PDF drawings and dimensioned sketches, and we can draw a part from a physical sample if needed.
Which materials can you plasma cut?
Mild steel plate is the bulk of our work, alongside stainless steel and aluminium. Tell us the grade and thickness and we'll confirm the best process for the part.
Is there a minimum order?
No. We cut one-off brackets and blanks as readily as batch runs. Small jobs are welcome — many of our regular customers started with a single plate.
How quickly can you turn parts around?
It depends on material availability and the queue on the table. Simple profiles are often quick; we'll give you a realistic date when we quote rather than a promise we can't keep.
Can you fabricate the parts as well as cut them?
Yes — that's the advantage of using a fabricator rather than a cutting bureau. We can weld, drill, dress and assemble your profiles into finished components under the same roof.
Do you serve Manchester and the wider North West?
We're on the east side of Greater Manchester, so the city, Rochdale, Ashton-under-Lyne, Stockport, Bury and Huddersfield are all close for collection or delivery. We also ship cut parts anywhere in the UK.
